1972-1980: Co-founded Jewish Education Program (JEP) was instrucmental in developing programs, including; Public School Released Time operations, producing the JEP Records, running parlor meetings and raffle campaigns.
1981-2006: Agudath Israel of America; Development, including dinners and conventions, mailing campaigns, managing editor/business manager of The Jewish Observer, coordination and production of the last 5 Siyumei Hashas starting in 1990, most recently Giant Staudium, succeeded in having Agudah Yisroel become a member agency of United Way of New York City, resulting in millions of dollars throughout the years, (plus procuring major State and Federal funding for Tomche Shabbos through the United Way system).
2006-2016: Executive Director of RCCS (Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society), built a small start-up with less than 50 patients to over 1,000 patients per year, created branding, web site, and emceed live Chinese Auction fundraisers, recruited funding sources for initiation of RCCS/Israel, procured major funding from various sources, including foundations, and instituted an annual golf/tennis charity tournament that, today, nets between 1-2 million dollars, annually.
2017-present: served as consultant for 1-2 years for various Jewish charities, including Maayanei Hayeshua Hospital, Misaskim, Hatzoloh, and Agudath Israel/Siyum Hashas.
Max Anteby is a Senior International Lecturer for Aish Hatorah – Discovery USA and Project inspire. Published author (The Jewish Theory of Everything-Artscroll), and COO of Icer brands, he’s He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, six daughters and 4 grandchildren. He is also the author of the forthcoming book entitled “26 Kind’s”.
Together with his father and two brothers, Rick founded Magder Entertainment which became the largest independent production studio in Canada and home to many television and feature productions including:
“Stanley and Iris” starring Jane Fonda and Robert DeNiro, “The Freshman” starring Marlon Brando and Mathew Broderick, “Suspect” starring Cher and Dennis Quaid, SCTV and many more productions for major Hollywood studios.
The Magder’s also founded Motion Picture Video Corporation, the first electronic post-production facility of its kind in North America and Magder/ADN Pictures, a film sales and distribution company responsible for acquiring foreign rights to such films as: “The Milagro Beanfield War”, directed by Robert Redford, “The Great Outdoors”, starring Dan Akroyd and John Candy, “Almost an Angel”, starring Paul Hogan and “Flight of the Intruder”, starring Willem Defoe and Danny Glover.
For many years, Rick has been developing and producing television, feature films, special interest programs and digital media. Some of his projects include: “The Galucci Brothers” starring Tony Sirico and Bobby Costansa; Mikhail Barishnikov’s “Stories from My Childhood,” starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Rob Lowe, Shirley Maclaine, and Gene Hackman; Award winning “Home Safe” starring Martin Short. His documentary work led him to interviewing such politicians as President Carter, President Ford, Hillary Clinton, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Ted Kennedy, Jean Kirkpatrick and many others.
Rick’s desire to use his talents to better the Jewish community resulted in him creating the department of Media and Broadcasting for the Orthodox Union where he developed a variety of educational programs including: “The Prince of Egypt Family Haggadah” in association with DreamWorks SKG, and “Tinker Shop Tales”, an animated show that teaches positive character traits and values to children. As the director of OU.org, one of the largest websites in the Jewish world, Rick was responsible for quadrupling the traffic to the website to between
400,000-500,000 unique visitors each month.
In conjunction with the Afikim Foundation and the Israeli government, he produced and directed the documentary film “Everyday a Memory,” a film designed to connect people around the world with the memory of Israel’s fallen soldiers. In conjunction with the film, a website, honorisraelsfallen.com was created to inspire people to do an act of kindness in their memory. In its first 60 days, over 40,000 acts of kindness around the world were recorded.
Rick contributed content for a similar project in which a Torah scroll was written and donated to ZAKA an organization of volunteers that “cleans up” the aftermath of terror attacks in Israel and is deployed around the world to help with evacuation and recovery after natural disasters. People participated by purchasing a letter in a “virtual” Torah scroll. Letters were “paid for” by performing acts of kindness. Over 30,000 acts of kindness were performed around the world.
Rick is currently working on a new movie called “The Jerusalem Stone” which focuses on the world’s historical obsession for control of Jerusalem and specifically the Temple Mount. To get the project going, Rick launched a campaign on kickstarter.com. The Jerusalem Stone, made it to the site’s front page of documentaries ahead of 4000 other films and exceeded its funding goal.
Rick is the founder of the online learning platform JUniversity.co. He has also been instrumental in creating a gap year training program in Israel accredited by Hebrew U and he founded WIZDM.org, a powerful community/social platform for Jewish college students that connects them to each other, provides mentorship and engages them in meaningful learning opportunities and inspiring community events as well as training designed to turn them into influential social
entrepreneurs.
Rick has also just finished writing his first book. “We Are God’s Partners: Caring for our World in the Story of Creation,” is a children’s book that teaches environmental stewardship through the biblical story of creation. It’s currently available on Amazon.
Seth Feldman is an Emmy-award-winning television producer and digital news executive. His areas of expertise are newsroom innovation, program development, and brand content strategy.
He most recently launched Straight Arrow News, a digital start-up, and served as the company’s Head of Content.
Previously, Feldman was a National Content Director at TEGNA, leading morning content innovation across the company’s 49 local newsrooms. He also served as Vice President of Branded Entertainment & Program Development at Meredith Video Studios, where he created The Better Show, which aired for nine years in national syndication.
In his earlier career, Feldman ran local newsrooms in Memphis, Aruba, and Honolulu. He also produced a season of The Martha Stewart Apprentice.
Feldman has worked under some of the biggest names in media, including Barry Diller and Mark Burnett.
